SHANNON ETHERTON
ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Growing up in the shadow of the world’s busiest airport, I felt the pull of travel from an early age—each plane overhead sparked a longing to explore. That curiosity led me to pursue a degree in hospitality, where I discovered just how expansive and enriching the world of travel truly is.
Over the past 15 years as a luxury travel advisor, I’ve crafted unforgettable journeys that connect clients to the beauty, culture, and wonder of the world. Watching the sun rise over the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia reminded me how small we are in this big, beautiful world. Standing on a glacier in Patagonia taught me the power of saying yes to adventure—and that’s the spirit I bring to every itinerary I create.
My current role on the board of the Atlanta chapter of Prost allows me to share that same spirit with fellow industry professionals. It’s the kind of community-focused culture that also makes our team at The Journey Group thrive.
For me, success means more than a smooth trip—it’s when a client returns home inspired, fulfilled, and already dreaming of their next great escape.
