BELIZE, CENTRAL AMERICA
Originally from Denver, I moved to Belize in 2012, to be with my husband, who I had met in college.
After relocating to Belize, I founded Signature Belize Weddings, where I had the honor of planning over 1,000 weddings and events in the region over the past 13 years. Some of the most memorable events have included planning events for the Prime Minister, the President of Mexico, and even the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate. However, the demands of constant travel eventually became overwhelming.
In 2008, I met Laura Sangster from The Journey Group at a tradeshow, and we instantly connected over our shared love for vegan cuisine. Though we stayed in touch as acquaintances, in 2022, I reached out to Laura to help me transition my business. Today, I’m thrilled to be working with The Journey Group, planning destination weddings around the world. Partnering with my best friend, Kyle Schwartz, I’ve been able to combine my expertise in wedding planning with my passion for travel, creating a beautiful and successful destination wedding travel business – Signature Destination Weddings.

Beach or pool // Pool. I just can’t deal with the sand!
Sleep through on long-haul flights, or wake up for every meal // Sleep! Let me get to my destination rested and ready to go!
One country I’ll never say no to // Since I live abroad, I will use any excuse to go back to the US.
